Those are GYT twins and do make power, and as you state they were designed for the '94-'96 vmax chassis. @ 5K rpm you better be holding on cause they pull like a freight train.
What are they worth?
I would guess anywhere probably between $100+300 depending on shape and if all of the pieces-parts are there..

In the pic the flanges are missing that attach it to the cylinders if you get them make sure those are in place, i see them for $200 a lot, just a note you will need to reclutch as metioned hold on at 5300-7200 you take off like CRAZY! 

I picked them up wheelen and dealing I will resale them.

When I first got my 95 vmax 600 (with the gyt's), the primary was set to engage around 5100 rpm. Talk about a ride! It was absolutely worthless if you were starting in more than 4 inches of snow as it would dig halfway to china, but... give it some nice hardpack (studded track), and my internal organs would hurt from the acceleration!
No other vehicle I've driven accelerated that hard.
