Putting the sleds away !!

The time has come.. Usually I get a "Kasimir Pulaski day RIDE,,but,,, time to put the snowmobiles away for this year and time to get the CHALLENGER ready for the springtime!!! I sprayed the engine compartments down with CRC silicone ( about three or four cans EACH) ( about 2.25 a can at WALMART ) and spray the suspension (front end) and ski's with YAMAHA LUBE-ZALL.. Throw a half a bottle of Marine Fuel STABILIZER and run the motors for about ten minutes each...Bring em up to Michigan and stick them in the pole barn till HALLOWEEN !!!
 
I didn't fog them with ATF last year and I had to pull the carbs off and replace pilot jets....but.. I wanted to pull off the carbs and put new pilot jets in anyways,,, that's why I didn't fog them with ATF... Next year they will BOTH get new ring jobs,,, so,, no need to fog them with ATF again this year.... I'll have BOTH motors apart !!!
 
sad, but we are a bit below 0* here in NH, and supposed to be 45* tomorrow and rain :( damn shame, we had a great amount of snow here in NH and I only went out a few times. busy with my 2 year old daughter and plowing. always next year.... right??
 
Head north my friends. First of March is waaay to soon to call it quits. My best riding usually comes in March
 
all foged up and put away, got boat in shop getting ready for hot chic's in bikinis and plenty of frosty budlight's :beer: ;):D :WayCool:
 
we're all done riding here in PA. sled is getting prepped soon for summer storage, and the quad is getting ready to come out and ride!
 
wow..that must suck..we r still gettin snow way up here in canada..looks like we will be ridding into april forsure..
 
Too early to put them away! I was out Tuesday for about 40 mile ride. Trails were still good here. I've got a big riding weekend planned for March 18-20 in Northern Minnesota. They will probably be riding into April up there.
 
NHRA Drag racing season started last weekend... Time to bring out the Challenger and BREAK IN those NEW SLICKS !!! ( I also could break'em in in the alley behind my house,, but it's NOT THE SAME !!!
 
I am hoping to get one more ride in next week in northern NH. If not, then i will be getting the SRX and RX1 ready for next season. EVERY year, I put the sleds away and then don't get to service them and prepare them for the next season until a week before the first trip of the season. Not this year, i will not think about any spring or summer hobbies until the sleds are in perfect shape for next season. Sad time of the year for sure.

The cops ,,in my neighborhood,,, are grateful that I live where I do.. Actually,, they think i'm kinda NUTS for living in the "barrio",, but,, I tell them like it is..... This is MY neighborhood !!!! Not theirs.....
