Is it possible to get decent hook up with a new 136 camo 9831, 162 studs and an aggressive 8bu setup (max perf white; 51/43 green secndry; 21/37;stock 99 SRX)? Reason I ask is, first backyard holeshots since changes show alot of track spinning (grass w/a skiff of snow). Bendert tnsfr rods still have 2 lines adjusment to full and I haven't done any preload/limiter adjustments yet but, if I'm just going to end up at the extreme end of my suspension specs only to find out that this is just to torquey of a setup for the track/stud combo then I'll start right off taming down the clutching/gearing a bit.

I must say I'm a bit surprised. no traction issues with prior clutch setup (89a10), same low gearing (1.76) and studded 121 yoko. now I go to a new 136 1"Camo and cant hook. hard to believe that the 8bu's are that aggressive.

Guys who've been there, can you save me some time?

Dave

Run a less aggressive helix or lower engagement or both with the 8bu,s if traction is a problem.
