Max Lug Height..??

I am wondering what the max lug height track I can fit on a 1999 V-Max SX??

That depends... if you stud it you'll want to keep the protectors in place, then a 1" Hacksaw or Predator would be a good fit. But without the protectors (if you don't stud) you can probably fit a 1-3/4" it would be tight, you can go bigger if you change the driver from a 9 tooth to an 8 tooth. The 8 tooth will give you more room up front. Some guys use a 8 tooth with a 1-1/4" and stud it, then you can keep the protectors in. Using an 8 tooth you'll probably want to change the gearing.

Oh one more thing. When you use a 8 tooth driver and no protectors and no studs you can safely fit a 2".

I just put a ripsaw 1 1/4 lug track on my sled, had to remove the protectors.
