Crank Seal Orientation

Can anyone tell me the correct orientation for the crank seal on the MAG side?

I am not sure what way to install the new seal and I forgot how the old seal was orientated....

the manual picture is not detailed enough to see what direction the seal should face...

the outside of the seal should have a raised lip to fit into a grooce in the cases. it should be easy to figure out when you look at the groove.

Thanks...

there is a raised lip on the seal...but its offset to one side.

After doing some more searching I think i figured it out!!
