ya thats what i was going to say, studing made a big differnce on mine.
yea i figured sled you would give me that advice...hahaha i love the clutch set up great corner to corner very snappy
really tho, if you have the stock track it wont last long....that stock track is a heep of crap....
no the stock track when to SH*T pile with1200 miles on it,i got a camoplast 8.8 lug on it now,3season on it and is is excellent shape..s
im think of going up to 144 or 168 studs
I had great success with 168... http://www.totallyamaha.com/snowmobiles/aaTECH/Stud Patterns/Stud Patterns.htm

Mr. Sled, what track would you recommend and would that fit or are other mods needed?
If you dont want to change the drivers for a ripsaw then I would go with a 9830.

try moveing the rear holes on the transfer rod to a 99 up set up that is ahead of the holes now it will take shorter rods or modify yours for fit adjust for inch and a half travel bye cutting down loc nuts or removeing spacers than set for soft ride or med than hang on.
