Stabilizer

Looking at the pic you see the stabilizer bar is above the trailing arm, BUT...today I saw a viper with the stabilizer joint pointing down below the arm. Which is correct or does it even matter?

Yup yours is upsidedown. If both that way i would say previous owner put it back together wrong. Easy fix. If just one side i have read here where a bad landing caused it too. Just unbolt and flip around. Their was a post a while back about this exact thing, but i dont remember if in the end it really matters. Chris

That makes for a very stiff ride up front. The stabilizer hits the belly pan very early in the travel. I have seen a few like this, someone installled the doglegs incorrectly.

I put mine together like that once. ha they kept flipping back themselves so I kept putting them the other way I thought wtf. Was terrible in the bumps and was the begining of the season so I thought I forgot how to ride. lol

my sxr flipped this way after a hard landing...i ending up replacing the bar.
