My divorce is pending and I'm sure the sleds are going to be an issue. I'd much rather see them in the hands of a worthy stranger than give either up to her. I don't really know how much they're really worth right now. 2000 SRX700 in good condition, motor well taken care of, a crack in the hood and could use a new track although no tears or pull-thrus. 2800 approx miles. A 2003 SXR600 new skis and 1" camo track no studs. Also well taken care of, probably in very good condition 3500 miles. A 2005 2 place covered R&R trailer, in good condition.

I have 2 questions, what would these legitimately be worth right now and is anyone interested?

Check the laws concerning this as my wife checked out inheritance information laws, you only had to leave relatives that were not well liked $1 to satisfy the courts and she said the law is now $10, so just a word to the wise do your homework. Good Luck on your outcome.
 
Check www.kbb.com (kelly blue book) To be completely honest I am always checking different sites for sled for sale. More window shopping really. This time of year the only sleds I have seen moving are ones priced around 65-75% of kbb.

I guess im too easy. This is a very tough time and fighting over a replacable object, even if it is blue, is stupid. I told her she can have it (the SxR that is). I'll even summer prep it and show her how to get it going next winter. She took my dog too. And $220,000. And the 30 acres and house up in N MI. Shes living there. In return I'm keeping the house in Brighton. Divorce sucks.

They will access a value to them and take half of that value from the house or something else. Sell them for a fictional $3500.00 to make it more realistic then your only giving her $1750 for the lot a good deal. That way your in control of the initial amount not her Lawyers.
 
that hurts..I couldn't take that.My divorce back 13 years ago wasn't so bad.I still live in the original house we built in 1984.At that time only cost $65,000 to keep her quiet.We fought alot in court over the kids support payments..she forgot the deal we made on our own and payment amount..I guess her new man in life told her to go after me for more.So lawyer costs were adding up..but not to heavy.She wouldn't dare kick me out of my house on the land my parents gave to me.Besides my parents just lived behind us on the country road..ex wife wouldn't be able to handle them in her face..lol..So she moved out with the kids.Worst thing was not seeing my kids grow up much,visits every other weekend and the such.But both of my girls are doing good in life now..oldest is 27 and the younger 23.My oldest is finishing her college and will be working for a Law Firm as a Criminal lawyer and the younger is taking a restaurant managemrnt course as she wants to run one some day.Lucky they turned out good after everything.
I am re-married now for some 11 years now and all is fine.BUT to hand out that much cash to an ex..don't think so.Can't say what I would of done,but it wouldn't have been a pretty picture...

Good luck to you and in time you will heal..hopefully.I do not and will not ever talk to my ex for what she has done.She broke up this family and the kids even know what kind of a person she is now..not a happy camper as her and her new husband have gone separate ways...ah ..so sad...

Keep your chin up..it is hard some days..but it helps.I still have flashbacks sometimes and I get pretty pissed..but really I have accepted trhings for what they are now and carry on.At least I didn't have to sleep in my truck..as other guys I know have..... :o|

Well, it's 5 months later so I thought I would update. Divorce is final. About $10k to the lawyer. She took half of everything plus a little extra. SxR and utility trailer 5 kW generator. Suzi DR350 bike (she doesnt even know how to ride it) Cobia boat (it was junk) 28 acre wooded property and log home (gonna miss that one but wasnt worth the $1200/ mo payments). My champion German Shepherd. $56,000 in lieu of alimony (blow me, Cheboygan county courts and State of Michigan. Get a job honey). I got my house in Brighton, most furniture, SRX, SS, 14 ft mirrocraft, Chev truck. Freedom. peace of mind. Sanity.
Oh ya, a new lady that I met at the gym, younger and hotter! She has 3 sleds of her own. The downfall? Arctic Cats, including a '10 ZR900.
 
after my divorce I meet a nice woman..nothing like a second wife because the sex was hotter then the first..lol..I went from a money hungry lying you know what woman (if you can call her that)to a sensible down to earth loving woman.I still have my house and property and my kids are doing great also..one of them is graduating from Law School..gonna be a criminal lawyer..proud of her..the other is going into nursing...
Life isn't always what you thought it could be when we first start out...just got to do the best we can with what we have and make the most of it because life is shorter then you think...

Good luck there archer..carry on as usual and don't get stressed over it..took me awhile to clear my mind after the divorce..I never talk to my ex because she is a little crazy at best times..her second husband and her have split up already..what more can I say..
 
hope she is not a collector of sleds..I worked with a guy who was a mechanic..had everything,the business,big house,pool..etc...he basically lost it when his ex took his Harley and Boat...he became an alcoholic there after..Told me that he was close to ousting her..very close.
 
Pick up the peices & move forward. Yuo cant change the past, but the future is what u make of it.l Your happiness will is the worst thing she wants to see.
