Reeds...Question

How can I tell if the reeds need to be replaced?

I did notice there was a little space between some of the reeds and the cage. Do they need to be sealed against the cage ALL the way around?

If you can see any gap, I'd replace the reed.

deffinately if theres a gap and u can see light through them replace or flip them over and check them may be able to get a little more life outta them if there stock. my v force 3 had the carbon fiber chiping back on the petel after about 3000 miles.got a set of carbon techs and no sign of that at 2500
