finally found the part i was looking for. on ebay i just bought a set of 3 1/2 drop brackets for the vmaxes knida pricey for what they are but im hoping it will make my backup sled a little more rider friendly. i'll port pics before and after. if interested do a search on ebay for drop brackets.

they won't do anything to improve the ride, and will increase the already heavy pressure on the skis... The only thing they WILL do is give you a little more deep snow capability.

by ride i mean the way it feels when you set on it. im ok with the suspension just want more travel and be further off the ground. as far as the steering i dont feel the steering is "heavy".

Me and the stepson made our own with some plate aluminuim on his 96 vmax xt. Does not give you any more travel just pushes skid away from tunnel. If you can get a hold of a xt skid with the brackets would give you the longer travel and Taller stance.

maybe travel was a poor choice of words. the suspension can only move so much no matter where it sits in the tunnel im thinking it will give more clearance(keep tunnel out of the snow more) and improve the feel by lifting the back it will sit different and might be more comfortable to ride.

try to get a no action skid to ride better is like tellin a turd not to smell like poo do a search bout skid swaps i know alot of ppl like the ski doo sc 10s an polaris iqs search the tech section i know i hear the change is like night an day

back up sled from friends and family to ride when there extra people around not worth the time and effort/cost to do a skid swap. i dont believe the 95 max has a pro action in it if it did that would be an upgrade.
