8,000cfs going through Minot, ND right now. Talking up to possibly 10,500cfs by Thursday. They are having Mandatory Evacuations right now in the low areas along the river. It's not looking good at all. Please keep these people in your thoughts. I'm not affected by this. They've had 3, even 4 inches of rain from Minot to the Canadian border all along the river.

They are evacuating our zoo as well.
 
WHAT??? Another Flood again..water come this way.It has been a dismal Spring so far..still no heat and raining and windy like hell AGAIN TODAY AND REST OF WEEK LOOKS BLEAK.I just want winter back..easier to handle..no outdoor work to do..just ride...
 
a lot of farmers out here haven't seeded yet..mostly west and north..looks like a dead year for them.Not much seeding going on around me either and it is almost June already.Farmers have to have their crops seeded by June 14 to be able to get crop insurance coverage,many won't have a single seed in the ground.Government will be paying out asistance to farmers,but that will be just enough for them to live another year.Small communities will be affected since farmes won't have cash to spend this year.It is aterrible situation to be in if you farm for a living.Looks like a big bad summer and Fall season ahead.
 
I'm a farmer too, and we only have 25% seeded, like many others around us, but lots of areas haven't seeded a grain of wheat, with many roads closed to truck traffic. For here its June 5th for wheat for crop insurance. Things don't look good.

This would be the Souris AKA Mouse River that is flooding.

it is really a sad situation to see...My father is past away now..but if he were here..all this rain would be driving him mad because he wouldn't be able to get on his fields.My cousins farm around 9000 acres..I wander how they are doing right now looking out their windows and shaking their heads.

My grandpa is 83 I believe, has farmed all his life, and has never seen water and rain like this for this long.
 
The heat here helped out the local farmers as far as drying out fields but i havent seen a tractor out yet. Not sure how bigtimefarmer is making out.
 
well after yesterday's storm and high winds ,I have tons of broken tree limbs to pick up and a couple older trees went down.The fields are just shiny wet.A little sun today..but back to rain again by Friday.I don't see any real seeding being down near me,the West of me might be some..but with the cool damp weather..I bet they will have to re-seed again...What to do with the June 14th deadline ..it will take another week to dry enough..must be tough being a farmer now.
 
Still winter in the Alpine here, thinking about taking out the YZ125 and the MM700 for a hero mission day.

another major storm is heading this way tonight.Severe winds and hail possible.In the last storm 2 days ago..we got some small tornado's close by..something big is coming i think...

Well the news is worse now, they are almost doubling the releases on the lake up stream from Minot, from Burlington to Minot is all MANDATORY evacuations by Wed night, the water is going to go over the dikes by Friday morning, they have decided to move the efforts to secondary dikes and infrastructure.

The outlook is quite grim now, they are talking 7-9ft higher water than the great flood of 1969...
