PM mrviper700, I have heard nothing but good things about the work he does!
And according to a thread on here, he charges $360, not sure if this is true or not. But even if it is anywhere near that, it is very generous of him for the quality work he does!

it will be a liittle more then that..close to $500 and up..
That's the figure someone else was given, then again that may have been back when the economy was better. I could be wrong however.
Monster, look at the 4th post in this thread by tomseal6:

I was quoted 6-700 to do the cylinders, case and piston mod on a redhead 700 a couple years ago.
I am a little leary replying to this thread because I am not a advertiser on this site, I really cant handle more work load volume so thats the only reason why I dont advertise. As posted those prices are 6 yrs old and as you know like everything else cost go up, the cutters for the foredom tools have doubled for carbide cutters.
srx/vipers are differnt pricing then redhead 600/700 engines because theres a whole lot more work done to modify on the redhead motors to get the power up.
Also, each engine is set up to your needs so pricing for one guy is not the same to the next, it just depends on what all you want done/modified.
((to answer the original poster question
)
Really, anyone who wants to mod thier engine should explore ALL your options/vendors out there who do engine work, lots of aftermarket places. Call them and talk to them. If they cant /wont take the time to spend with you to explain,answer your questions and address your concerns, move to the next one.
Then,... talk directly who has had work done(customer/consumer) and see how it performs in the field in real life conditions, than base your decision on who to use from that. Some places, once they have your money they wont talk to you unless you have a credit card number.
