Viper jetting and clutching with slp pipes

Any buddy have a idea what the jetting would be with slp pipes? I see two diff specs. Not sure wich one. 165 main, 3.5 or 4 on the needle,1 3\4 on feul screw sound right for 0 to 2000 ft. Also my clutch is sleeping bad getting alot of heat from the primary should I add more weight I baught the sled last year tring to figure out what the previous owner did to it. Im getting alot of raw feul in my air boxs is that normal.

I ran a set of Speedwerx on a Viper, 162.5 mains, 4 on the needle, 2 1/4 for fuel screw and I'd have to look up the pilots, I think 47.5s but not sure. I ran the stock 8DN-10 weights with 17.2mm steel in both holes with a W-W-W primary spring. This was to run 9000rpm on SPEEDWERX triples, slp's run a different power curve I believe. Somebody will chime in I'm sure.

Did you get them from a guy up around eagle lake? He had them on uncle henrys for 300 but had no flanges. 10-4 on the slp site has a good base line.
 
Came with the sled when I baught it. Im getting alot of raw feul in the air box is that normal? I know the sled has been jetted but not sure if he did anything with the needle. Also couldnt find that chart that slp has could u help, found one sight but its for autos. Thanks for the help
 
A bit of fuel in the airbox is not uncommon on our Yamaha tripples.
An excessive amount of fuel in the airbox can be an indication of reeds that are worn,cracked, +/or broken.

Thanks , I was planning on buying v force reeds or do u reconmend boysen reeds? It seems im lacking some power and I just had a complete rebuild from the crank up.
 
Lots of info on reeds if you do a search. The stock SRX cages are good and work well with carbon tech reeds. I have tried VForce 1,2s,+3s and am currently using Boysen Rage Cages. I liked the VForce 3's the least and Boysens the best.
