MM gearing

Can you run a 20/40 gearing with a 68 link chain?
The sled is a 2001 MM 700.

Thats what I run with my 20/40 gears

Man, that srx has to have some low end pull!

I long tracked it to 144 and raised the suspension to make it better for boondocking around home here and usually run 23/39 gears. But I take it to the mountains once or twice a year and thats when I use the 20/40 gears. Thats where I need that low end pull. :-)

I guess the sled would be crazy with 20/40 when not running in the mountains?

Yep, its geared way too low for around home with 20/40's. I was overrevving at 1/3- 1/2 throttle. I don't really know if I could even clutch it properly for around home with those gears in it.
