Part Number Question. Primary Sheave

Hey Guys... Im in the market to replace my primary sliding sheave. I may be able to get a good deal. Part number of the sheave is 8FA-17620-00-00
The part number for my sheave according to the online fiche is 8BV-17620-11-00. I'm not that familiar with yamaha part number schemes but the two part explosions look identical. Would that sheave work for me?

the tall tower primary sheaves are all the same.i would buy the rx-1 primary sheave it's a little thicker & stonger.i bought one for my sled along time ago still looks new .the rx-1 sliding sheave is stonger becuse of 4 stoke grunt thats why it is thicker.throw in wights & spring & rollers but not in that order lol & go.

yep, no issues with fitment. add your calibrations and ride on.

you may notice some slight differences around the weight pivot point, but other than that, its a direct bolt on, less calibration.

as long as your interchanging a tall cover clutch with a tall cover clutch, your good to go.

I've found my dealer has an abundance of new take-off sheaves because of alot of guys having OD sheaves installed on their new sleds. you can get some smoking deals on em.
