Reverse for 96 xt 600

I did a search and could'nt find the exact answer I was looking for.
Was wondering if anyone could tell me if a reverse chain case out of a 1997 vmax 600 would fit in my 96 xt 600. THANKS!

The chaincase changed in 97, I would say no.

No did a bit of research on this before i sold mine. Has to be a 94-96 vmax. The 94 needs some modifying but the 95, 96 should be a direct bolt in if i remember right. I had a thread about it not to long ago. Ill see if i can find it.
