HELLO SHRADER. PRETTY FUNNY MAN. HEY I BUILT THIS 8BU-10 SET-UP FOR MY 2002 SRX AND LOVE IT. FREAKING SLED RAN 110 ON RADER WITH 139 POUND DRIVER IN 1000 F.T. , SO SURE THERE IS ALWAYS IMPROVEMENTS. I BET WOULD WORK FINE ON A 98 3:16 (yammie tony)

i will let u know if i can beat 115 with them ..fastest speed i did ;)!

im going back to 8bu 10's this winter i ran out of ime last year to dial them in, i emptied them out anyone have any advice on what rivets to start with in them?

can i get them to work with a 52/44 helix ?

i never had much luck until i tried a 50/38 tried 52/42 and a couple of other similar helixs. . I started with 3.6g in both holes and worked up. current setup is loaded with 4.5 in both holes.

i have to decide on a helix, and order another helix and some rivets , doesnt hauck sell 4.5g rivets?

you can get them from your yamaha Dealer. there are some yamaha stock numbers in the tech section to help you find the right ones. Some dealers dont have a clue.

50-38 or 51-43 or 50-43 or .................................... witch way to go with the 8bu-10

hey mod..I don't think there will be snow here this year.We just broke a record for Oct 2011 at 31.6 C today..way above temps by around 17 degrees.Been dry all year to..something tells me the sleds will be sitting more then riding this season...no moisture anywhere and could be a green xmax to...

so test them weights for me then and let me know.If there is no snow pack here for a long time,my SRX will be sitting for sure..and I will torture my 600 in the crap conditions..

well here we have a warning of freezing on the ground but will get a nice nice weekend

my 98 ran 113 on gps with me on it (250lb with gear) with the loaded 8DN20 set up in it, that was on a frozen straight stretch on an old fire lane, But faster is ALWAYS better ! so I will do some testing on these 8BU's.......

I still love my 8dn-20's on my ol girl.
Hard to switch to something else.
i liked mine too , until my buddie consistently smoked me on anything but a very quick run with his 8bu 10's its not fun watching a sled pull like a train while mine hit a wall at about 80 mph lol
