Where did you find a 08 Ski Doo 1000 to run against? It must be the only one that was ever built. Maybe you dreamed it up or something.

snip. My machine had 2001 jetting stock clutches then I added a clutch kit. Everything else was bone stock. snip. It really depended on snow. If there was any snow on the lake I would get smoked. They run the best with little to no snow.

I must say I was disappointed with the hole-shot with my '01 out of the box (with studs). I didn't have fun with the sled in snow until I swapped out the .920" track. Studded or not, IMO (and others here) it flat out sucked.

Rather than beat you up about your opinion (can't speak to your shoot-out claims), I'd recommend swapping out the Yoko track for another.

Theres no reason why you couldn't own him, I have a Mountain Max and it was by far the fastest trail sled out of my crew, any time I raced any RMK or Summit Z or Rev, I owned them, by far. With proper modification, knowing your sled and use your ability to ride, and theres no doubt its gonna come close.

I ride MTN so I like to race highmarking/open powder/groomed trail
(we like to test the sleds against each other, in more than just trail racing)
