Stock reed differences

I picked up a pretty much brand new set of cages,boots and stock reeds for $10 at a swap meet this weekend. He said they came off of his SXs when he bought them 10 or so years ago.
Was wondering if all three pedal Yamaha reeds are the same for all the red heads. Is the 500 also the same as the 600 & 700s?? I would think that the 6 and 700s are probably. Haven't ever seen a 500 though.
Just don't want to throw them in my son's SX6 only to find out they are for a different displacement.

just noticed you listed boots too. boots are different, 500's have the boost bottle holes, 600's and 700's are the same

Ya that right. The 500s do have B/B ports. These must have been off of a 6 or 700.

Just check the used reeds along the edges for cracks and chips, no sense putting in marginal or bad parts.

3/4ths of the pedals you can play a tune on. Meaning they 'twang' abit when you run over them with your thumb. The pedals that I cannot get any noise out of are tight against the cage. Tried flipping them over. Then I have 1/4 of em bad and 3/4ths good.
Just ordered a new set. No use to 'nurse' them along. Did he notch also.
