Where do you buy your OEM parts?

Port Yamaha's site is pretty easy to use. Prices arent as cheap as Yamaha Parts House but they make up for that in shipping cost and super high quality customer service.
 
OEM parts

I buy all of my OEM stuff from the local Yamaha dealer. They are fairly close on price with yamahapartshouse.com. If I have a problem with anything, there is an actual person to talk to about it. And, it's my part to help keep them open so I have a dealer close by. They've been around since the early 80's.
They treat me well and give me price breaks plus free stuff from time to time to boot. What more could you ask for?
 
My local dealer seems to charge list price for EVERYTHING! I've spent thousands there and never even gotten a thanks. I wont buy anything but oil from them anymore.
 
I am lucky enough to have 3 dealers within 20 miles of me. I usually stick to one of them, but if i need stuff fast, somebody usually has it. couple more dealers not too much further away either.

Sounds like a fantasy land to me. Back in MI, dealer charged list price minimum (Munising, MI) because they knew the beaters had no choice but to pay up.

In CO, the nearest dealer is way the hell up in Denver, it's not even worth the gas to find out if they're worth dealing with. Colorado Springs, with a good 400,000 people or better (with nearby surrounding population), doesn't even have a Yamaha snowmobile dealer! Unreal. I'll give Port Yamaha a peek and see what they're about. I just like to hear from somebody who's been there that the source i'm considering is reliable so thanks to all who've provided feedback!
 
You'll be hard pressed to find a better place to buy online than Port. Kevin and his staff are excellent to deal with. AND you get a TY discount.... if ya' remember to tell them.

I too buy most of my OEM parts from them. Always had great service. DId not know that about the TY discount. Ill have to call from now on.

Do you need to give them a code or just your username?
 
I usually go through Cycle Parts Warehouse. If you don't mind about a week or so wait to get your parts, I've found them to be the cheapest around.

Fantasy land? Maybe...but, I'm not the one crying about not having a decent dealer near by.
My local dealer treats me well and is likely why they are still open after 30+ years.
