Post #13 is my daughters cut down. http://www.totallyamaha.net/forums/threads/80244-Father-and-daughter-viper-project!!/page2 Yes reuse the black trim and tack down with some hot glue. I just started all my cuts at the sides just as the windshield starts to curve up with the cut comming about 2" down from top of windshild. Your really only trimming down the hump in the middle. Then see where you end up with your bars and cont to trim from there. Then wet sand the inside of the windhield with super fine grit and give it a few coats of flat black (or choice of color) and it will be a nice high gloss look from the outside and last forever.
