Hi all...I am currently in the process of freshening up the top end of my 97 700 mountain max and I have a question. I see a little antifreeze under the crank that i believe was caused by myself when taking the head off. What do I need to do about it? Thanks....this is my first time on my own so any help would be appreciated.

Yes the antifreeze needs to come out of the bottom of the crank case. I have used a rag and a wrachet exstendtion but be carefull not to get the rag stuck in there. my self when i have to da any engine tare down I take the bottom end apart and check the bearing and replace if needed and replace the seals. I Dont like haveing to split the bottom end after I have allready rebuilt the top end and rode it half way threw the season and the bottom end goes out. Good luck!
