needs some help new to yamy snowmobiles

90W gear oil would be WAY to thick. Especially in sub zero temps. If you dont want to use the Yamaha chain case lube then the tranny fluid would be a good choice. Or some straight 30W with some Lucas oil stabilizer. (i ve used that combo in the past with good luck)

I have since switched to Polaris chain case lube. Yamaha's would work too....

i run atf type f in my drag banshee would that work because i have a bunch of that?
