Something doesn't see right
He just told me that it is a 570 and it is the original cab
Here is a pic of it

That's what I thought
I guess I will have to wait till I see the ownership

Where can I find a list of serial numbers so I can check this thing out?

I called Yamaha with the ser #
It's a 1993, now lets see if the ownership matches

So I bought it
Nice little 2 up sled with electric start

Now I have a couple of questions:

First--- what thread is the clutch puller
Second --- it has a 4 weight comet clutch on it any idea where to start on clutching?

Thanks

Remember to check/adjust the belt to sheave distance against a
new OEM drive belt in the Comet 4-post drive clutch !

Polaris weight profiles are the most efficient at transferring power.
Fits Comet 4-post clutch just fine.

How do I check or adjust the sheave distance?

The weights are A10 41g
Not sure about the spring but it seems pretty week

Center to center of the primary and secondary bolts is where you measure from. Clutch offset is measured from the back side (closest to the motor) of both clutches.
Center to center is 268.5mm +/- 1.5mm
offset is 16mm +/- 1.5mm

Easy tool for center to center is a length of wood or steel measured to the correct length then put nails or screws through at those points so they can contact the bolts.

Adjustment is made by loosening and moving the motor.

Offset is primarily adjusted with shims in front and behind the secondary.

the 93 calls for Br9es plugs
can I use the br9ecs that I run in my SRX?

secondary has a 39 degree helix with a pink spring
what should I wrap it to?
