i've looked at all the riser post and nothing on MSRX. Has anyone put a riser on there 98 MSRX. I don't want to change cables, From what i see 2" is safe, but are my cables longer then a regular srx or the same, could i put a 3.5 ROX pivot assembly with no trouble no relocating cables.....

not shur about the cables but stearing post will snap off very easyyou need a 2001 post

not sure about the mountains but the regular 98/99s and some 2000's were known to snap with risers. do a search you should find info on this. myself as well as others have reinforced them by inserting a 1/2 pipe in the stock post and welding it in.
