Working on stepson's xtc.Want to drop suspension to work on it.But noticed that the bottom gap on transfer rods is not tight. There is a gap between white shim and the rod body.So when you sit on sled it slams down and stops when top shim hits the upper portion of rod body.So there is no chance of getting a 50/50 gap with rider on,and then takes a lot of force to compress the suspension down after. On my SXR totally different because I have the 50/50 gap and suspension will rock back nicely and travel is there. On XTC once the top him hits..suspension will no rock. Now Scott(bluemonster2's sled) pushed down hard on back and I see the rear shock is moving..so what is causing this to happen.Don't see anything broken..but will remove skid next week to check things out.In other words he is not getting a lot of travel when riding...harse ride on bumps.Anyone got an idea here what gives??? Thanks
