Bluemonster2 told me a co-worker bought a brand new Mountain Cat with a 2.25 track and it runs at about 165 HP.He is already bragging that he will beat us all.So I know he has more horse's,but that track got to slow you down some.As long as I am on more hard pack or ice..I should take him no problem..am I correct.

All another guy bought a new 2010 600 Doo..rated he says at 130 HP .He already is claiming to beat Bluemonster2's XTC 700 triple Piped sled..should be a laugh when the doo explodes. It is not a e-tec either.

that is what I was thinking. Will take him over to the spot we raced last year along the Floodway Diversion. It is completely flat for miles and nice hard pack maybe with a touch of ice some places..I would be foolish to race him in 6 inches of snow off course...

It is quite something what a "target" our SRXs are to other sleds owners. Everytime someone gets a newer, bigger + badder Doo,Cat or Polaris they always have to come after our little 700 SRXs! It shows how baddly they are hurting from all the years of getting spanked and humiliated by SRX tripples since 1998! They are still trying to beat a 14 year old sled with all of todays technology. It sure says a lot of the reputation SRXs and their riders have earned...I say bring em on...we have nothing loose.

lol..ain't that the truth Bob..I am looking forward to a good race..just will fine tune the 8bu-10's once we get some good base of snow..if it ever comes.... :o|

ha ha... i get the same crap talked to me by my brother and another buddy with their arctic cats... crack me up... i always tell them that their sleds may be fast but they're not SRX fast... i watch as they roll their eyes but they know what's up...

Looking at the specs for the doo 600 e tec it says 120 so his is probably 115ish but lighter. i should pull him in the long run. ;)! :letitsnow

the new polaris 800 rmk or assault will spank the new cat and doo 800 in 660 ft race seen it done last year was really impressed with the new polaris and that says a lot as im a yami sled owner for the past 36 years but none of them have yami reliability. and thats the very thing that stops me from buying any of the new junk i will call it.

Hahaha, I love it. I was talking to an old classmate on facebook chat the other day and snowmobiiling came up. Guess he sleds also, well he asked me what I have. So I told him an srx. Then he disconnected!! :yam:

iFHE GOT A 2012 cAT, i THINK YOU MAY HAVE YOUR HANDS FULL. tHOSE NEW CATS ARE EXTREMELY LIGHTWEIGHT, PLUS THE EXTRA HP HE HAS OVER YOU. tHE TRACK WONT BE AS BIG A PROBLEM, AS IT SHOULD BE ONE OF THE NEW COBRA TRACKS, WHICH ARE SINGLE PLY, BIG LUG, AND PRETTY LIGHTWEIGHT ALSO. iT WILL BE INTERESTING TO SEE THE OUTCOME. ARCTIC CAT POURED THEIR HEART & SOUL INTO THESE NEW 2012'S, THEY SHAVED LIKE 80 POUNDS FROM THE PREVIOUS CHASSIS.

got to say myself they are nice looking sleds.AC has done their homework...Yamaha better start advancing soon in their lineup or they will lose sales to AC.But will their engines last.Seems like their are 2 years left on the contract to build engines for AC by Suzuki ..then Cat is on their own to come up with a new motor..can I say alot of KABOOMS coming after that...

Well the 172hp turbo suzuki 4 stroke looks fast!!! They are nice looking but I wouldnt wanna dump that much money on a sled we only ride a couple months of the year. :letitsnow
