2000 sxr 700.. i just had my mechanic get the sled ready for winter.. i told him i was between 195-200 pounds without gear... he called me back and told me he moved the FRA setting from standard middle to the hard position for me.. is this correct? what does this do? i believe this is the only adjustment he made... 90% of my riding is on groomed trails..... i had no issues last season other then the one time i was going over a really bumpy trail and i felt like it was hitting bottom... never happend again other then that trail.... im not sure what this FRA setting is for.. i know where it is, and seems easy to set back to middle, but what should I do? i dont want to mess up suspension.... will the hard position shoot me up to the moon and back when i go over a bump? will it effect handling on the trails at all?

for the long version, read below, short answer is, full rate adjuster. changes the speed the shock and spring compress compared to travel.
