I couldnt get to the vid for some reason? But just from your title i would say your belt is riding too high in the secondary causing it to squeal at the primary when at idle. Their are a couple of small bolts on the back side of your secondary with washers on them. Take them out and that should take care of it. Do a search on belt squeal lots of info. Did you get a new belt? This is common untill they break in. Just dont lose those washers cause youll need them as the belt wears to keep it at the proper height in the secondary. I would get you spec's but im on my phone. Just search for secondary belt height should fint it.

thanks man, its just annoying and obviously shouldnt happen, but not being familiar with clutches, it kind of had me confused.. I put 3 different belts on, 2 of them brand new.. One was a parts unlimited , and the other was a carlisle ultimax xs, and the "semi" used one ( 1000 miles or so ) was a yamaha belt.. they all squeeked.. Some sat higher on the secondary than others.. I know you want it flush, or even a little below the secondary, but all 3 sat at different positions, one a touch high, one completely flush, and one a little below ... So do I just nee to buy a clutch puller for this , or just remove the washers one at a time? Im guessing the washers just act as a shim?
I dunno if this vid works for you...??

Yep, they're just shims. I pull the secondary off , pull the bolts out and remove the washers. Check the bolts too. Mine were mushroomed out on the ends so I got 3 new ones. If the belts are new, scrub em' up in soapy water and let em' dry. and a green or brown scrubby works good on the sheaves.

X2 and you dont need a clutch puller for the secondary. Just a 14mm socket and it pulls straight off. Off the top of my head retighten and torque to 45 ft lb.

Check the engine alignment also. Center to center could b off, making the belt tighter.

You don't need a puller for the secondary.
The bolt are only about $2 each at the dealer and are a little different than regular bolts.

Good deal thanks again everyone.. Ill check the bolts and replace if needed as well.. So just use regular dish soap and a green brillo pad to scrub the belt down? Hmm , never heard of that.. Man Ive been out for a long time, I dont remember anything

right now you probably have 2.4g tip and 3.1 g inner hole of your weight.Tip is to light.Maybe try 3.6 inner and 4.5 outer.Others can chim in here. You are losing HP at that rpm at wot.

the 3 weights in your primary clutch has 2 holes,an inner and outer(tip)They have rivets mounted in the holes,These controls your launch and wot rpm's.By changing the rivet size in 1 hole or both will change the rpm's your motor will put out.Turk was good with this may he RIP..
