finally the snow is here

Got to put 40 miles on today.it was marginally enough snow but plenty for lube and cooling. The rebuilt engine ran good. Mission accomplished. I guess I'm the Blue Sheep of the family...

yeah..forget about winter out here..its all going now..hitting 8 C tomorrow and warm for a while will no snow in site.Looks like its going to be a green xmas this year..Might as well fog the sleds and put them away.This is so ridicules I find..I am guessing the dealerships out here are banging their heads..sleds sales will be on the decline.On one good note..will be saving a ton of $$ on gas since price is high anyways.We are going to probably be one one the worst drought years next year also..since this Summer was the driest on record..it should then continue thruout the Winter as well.Lucky I didn't buy new sleds..guys who have are probably wandering what the hell they were doing ..all that $$$ on a new sled and no where to go.It has now been 8 months straight without sledding...whats the use of having a riding season..it might as well stay warm all winter into next Spring as far as I care..,,maybe time to sell the sleds and perhaps get some dirtbikes.

Relax Blue, we live in Canada, its gonna snow man.
 
yes it is gonna snow..but more up North.They are getting it there.Always seems everything turns Northward and around us.Same with Summer.All the rain stayed up North and always missed us...there is a story there... :o|
Anyways I think I will run all the sleds today and pull the oil cable for full oil output and let it run 10 minutes to coat everything up again..
 
I definitely understand your frustration. We were forecasted 25cm today. Wind changed its mind and kept the storm south of us. I think we will only end up with a dusting. Stay positive man, it'll happen!
