vmax secondary on exciter?

How´s the fit? Is it possible, do i have to make alot of mods to make it happen? I just thought that it´s easier to find a clutchkit to the v-max.....

94-96 will bolt right on, you may have to realine the clutches, also you will need a longer and wider belt from the vmax, but some of the later exciters used the same belt.

do you have the original primary on your sled? the vmax clutches are overdrive clutches.. i swapped over to 96 vmax 500 clutches on my last 87 exciter and was a night and day difference.. had ported cylinders and psi pipe as well.. i miss that sled!! i now have another nice low mile 87 exciter ..psi pipe, sx carbs and am looking for 96 clutches to put on this sled...
