yeah pretty much same deal here in southern maine, I have also been eyeballing my R6 but the roads are just nasty with salt and stuff (bad for the chrome wheels and polished exhaust) so yeah just sit wait.. luckly i already got in a 100 mile ride 2-3 weeks ago, this sucks happy new year

Same here in Northern Illinois... 52 right now. The 10 day forecast doesn't look that promising either...

We had a good cold snap going back last week here is S.E. WI & the lake & rivers were starting to ice up! Then WHAM!!!!!!! warm snap into the 50's & rain! THIS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!
I did get to ride last weekend up at my cabin in North Western WI-Price County! Trails were O.K.-could have used a lil' more snow, but you could ride further north or even to the east & find more snow! Last report I got is......it rained up north & in the U.P. of Mich. too! Not Good!!!!!!!!!

Im up in Minocqua right now and its all ice. The trails still have a good base, but its all so hardpacked and frozen down that you cant ride any of it.
They are calling for snow flurries tonight and snow/ice on Sunday. They are talking about some major snow up here on Tuesday (4-8").
I live in south easter WI and its bad down there. I think that if I couldnt come up to Minocqua and stay with my folks for next to nothin, Id probably sell my sled and get an ATV!

Gotta love the Michigan weather! Rode Wednesday up in Indian River in perfect conditions; 2ft of powder and 25°F. Came home to Howell and it was 59°F today. How many places in this land can you go snowmobiling on Wednesday and golf on Friday? Good thing is that this is only the start of winter!

Just came back from Mercer, Wi. Trails are all ice. The people that ARE riding are overheating their sleds and melting their hyfax to their clips. Very ugly. We got in 42 miles and probably should have never taken them off the trailer.
