I put 4" slimjims on my 08 Vector, Loved them, i also put the Studboy duce bars on my 07 phazer and hated them, tossed them out and went to the slim jims, and love them. My wife drives the vector the most and really loves them as well. They will make it a little stiffer to stear at REAL low speeds, but absolutly zero darting, and very little push in the corners. Over all they made two toally different style sleds handle better. They will not make it stear easier, but it will stear better. Once you get over 5 MPH or so you will not notice a difference in ease of stearing compared to a standard carbide. They seem to work well in all conditions as well, I drive on hard pack/ice, and groomed trails the most, but often jump into the Deep powder. When in the powder they seem to take away a little bit of float, but not enough to in my opinion to hurt.
IMO it makes no sence to go more than 4 in of carbide since there are two runners. Both my sleds have 96 pics, I do not feel any rear end push with the 4 in carbide.
Granted i am using them on different sleds than you, and most of the above is my opinion but it is how i feel about them.
hope this helps
