Hi all!!! Good to be winter again!
Noticed today when I started up my sled that after some time idling the red temp light came on. Of course I quickly shut my sled off.
First question is, without being ridden just idling how long would it take a sled similar to mine to over heat.
Second question, this summer when I was re-jetting and cleaning my carbs I took off what I can only describe as a thermostat housing off the top of my motor (dome shaped, 3 screws holding it down, one screw in top of dome). When I removed this nothing was below it, so does my sled even have a thermostat??

Thanks So much!!!!
