Hey guys i just did a few things to my sled and i was wondering what you would recommend as a starting place for jetting. Sled is a 1997 Yamaha SX and did the head gasket mod., air box mod., silencer bore, geared to 22/40, and a 51/43 helix. Thanks

You could start with stock jetting and adjust the fuel screw and jet clip from there, you'll surely need to richen it up a bit. Maybe a one size larger pilot jet with the intake mods.
Stock settings are:
Main Jet - 135 (carbs 2 & 3) 137.5 (carb 1 clutch side)
Pilot Jet - 42.5
Clip Position - 3
Fuel Screw - 1-1/2 turns out
Stock settings are:
Main Jet - 135 (carbs 2 & 3) 137.5 (carb 1 clutch side)
Pilot Jet - 42.5
Clip Position - 3
Fuel Screw - 1-1/2 turns out

i would'nt do the air box mod ...sled is very finicky with that mod...very hard to jet to!

I believe the stock settings you mentioned are incorrect........mains are 145 and 143.8's...pilots are 45

Thanks for the PDF Dmace, and yammy you are correct. I went and tore my carbs apart today and the main jets are 145. Thanks for the info on the air box yammy cause she was an hour away from getting cut. If I don't do the air box mod I shouldn't have to rejet should i?
For the most part you have the same setup as I do . I run my fuel screws at 1 3/4 turns and stock jets

What ever you do, dont do the airbox mod unless your at elevation.
no need to rejet unless you pipe it!
