I been striking out of luck finding a answer, is there away to get a 3 year registration like thy do for cars and trucks that are abandoned and after the 3 years you get the title if no one claims it?

I went to registered the sled and i found out i need a notarized bill of sale, since i did not get the registration with the sled. I did some calling i found out there is no recorded of the VIN in WA state or ID State, the guy said he brought them with him from ID state when he moved.
I am trying to get a hold of him to get more paper work, but if that fails what else can i do?

You can't get a notarized BOS from the person you bought it from?
Nope, I nevered had to with the car/truck and boat I have gotten. This is the first time I have gotten sled.
I got my truck without a title it. It was left in a guys field and not running. and it was easy to get the title for it. Just abit of leg work.
