100 % RUN IT WITH THE MODS YOU LISTED, BUT PREMIX IT WITH 89 PUMP. YOU WILL NOT HAVE ANY MORE DETO PROBLEMS. 3:16 (yammie tony)

Aviation fuel
I run a blend of AV 100LL with my 780 with CPR pipes at 9300RPM. I run Mega power heads and think my compression is kinda close to deto with premium fuel. My compression gauge reads 150-152 pounds with .048-.50 squish. Here is a pic of my plug last season running thousand foot passes.

I run it at around 50/50 when I'm riding close to home since I don't live anywhere near a gas station and all we have on the farm is 100LL and regular gas. Absolutely no problems yet and I actually think it's runs better with 100LL mixed in.
Well this is starting to sound better. I checked compresson the other night, new topend with no brake in just a little runing in the shop 142 to 145 psi, I think that I will just up jet and try mixing some in. We will see how it goes.
Here's a pretty good link on fuels. About 10 paragraphs from the bottom it addresses Aviation Fuel.

If you're mixing I would think you would be fine. I just wouldn't run straight Avgas.

I have ran it for years in most of my the sleds. Never had a problem.
I ran straight AV Gas in a piped 700 SX with the head gasket mod and the motor loved it. I currently run it in my Viper with a Price 1000 motor and I have 5 seasons of only running AV Gas in this motor.

Keep in mind....this time of year alot of the AV gas has de-icers added to it. Something my brother in law pointed out to me who happens to be a Delta Airlines pilot.

One thing to remember about Avgas is that it has a lower vapor pressure than pump gas. Which means is doesn't evaporate quite as well as pump gas. May have some slight cold start problems until engine gets warm enough to start burning a little better. Or may have to jet up one size depending on temp and how close ur jetting is for conditions. Thats one of the reasons gas comes in summer and winter blends. Winter blend evaporates just a bitter better for cold climates and better cold start characteristics. Just a thought.

I'd want my sled tuned to run on pump gas and not dependent on avgas, unless you plan on pulling a sled around full of avgas so you can fill up on the trail.

If you're referring to FSII (fuel system icing inhibitor), it is an anti-icing additive used only in turbine fuels, not avgas.
I was going to jump on that one too.. I'm GLAD that I don't know how to fly an airplane and I am also glad they don't let PILOT'S fix them either... I've seen a LOT OF BAD INFORMATION about 100LL on this post....Lets see,,, 1st of all,, 100LL is HORRIBLE trying to atomize ( liquid fuel doesn't burn) when it's ZERO or BELOW ZERO... It even has trouble at freezing !!! Thats why it evaporates so quickly in the summertime... There are ALSO problems with it getting hot in the fuel line and VAPOR LOCKING the fuel system and leaning out your motor !!! As far as TETRAETHYL LEAD is concerned.. it's probably the BEST THING for your motor !!!! It makes your parts LAST LONGER and actually RAISES COMPRESSION bu getting on the piston dome and combustion chamber ( coating).. You MAY NOT notice the difference,, but,, it is there!!! As far as the effects on your respiratory and central nervous system,,, DANGEROUS EVEN IN SMALL AMOUNTS... can EASILY BE ABSORBED THROUGH YOUR SKIN !! Also through your mucus membranes when inhaled !!! I could look at a MSDS and see exactly the levels on CURRENT brands of 100 LL ( low lead) but i'm SURE that it is WAY MORE than FIVE TIMES of unleaded fuels.. Unleaded fuels are basically untraceable ( although the refining process actually distills TETRAETHYL LEAD in it's "cracking" process).. Lead has it's drawbacks to the enviornment and it's health risks,,but,,,, is as GOOD AS GOLD in an INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE !!!.. As far as making your BONE STOCK SLED FASTER?????? No,, it will slow it down !!!! Even a spec'd 92 or 03 octane sled will NOT get any faster.. it WILL LAST LONGER and RESIST A BURNDOWN when it's TWENTY OR THIRTY BELOW outside,, but on the other hand,, it PROBABLY WON'T START when it's 20 or 30 below outside.... So you see,,, it HAS it's drawbacks... I have a friend that made an ALCOHOL / Nitrous oxide dragster a long time ago... he would inject the nitrous and it would BLOW THE FLAME OUT... The alcohol couldn't take the FRIDGID temperature of the nitrous.. When he tried to heat the nitrous, it raised the pressures SO HIGH that it couldn't sustain the burn.!!! He couldn't control the speed of the flamefront.... nevertheless,, it's been sitting in his garage for the last 40 years or so.!!! My point being,, don't get TOO EXOTIC with your fuels UNLESS you plan on doing something exotic.... a 50/50 mix can be acheived using METHANOL or ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL ( around 130 octane!!!) and it's a HELL OF A LOT CHEAPER using FRESH 93 octane fuel and ADDING METHYL ALCOHOL..... TWO DOLLARS A GALLON FOR METHYL ALCOHOL too !!!! Gary Oles nosboy !journeyman said:Keep in mind....this time of year alot of the AV gas has de-icers added to it. Guys have been bitching about the ILL EFFECTS of ALCOHOL in fuels for some time... I think the rubbers are called butyl nitrates and are NOT IMPERVIOUS to destruction by ALCOHOL and ALCOHOL added fuels... therefore,,, knowing that,, the fuel system components MUST BE MODIFIED OR CHANGED COMPLETELY !!! Guys that burn METHANOL at the dragstrip know ALL ABOUT the effects of METHANOL on internal combustion engines.. THERFORE,, they HAVE TO use DIFFERENT LOGIC.. like FUEL HOSES, and carburetion.. Not to mention PUMP and filter differences.. THEY ADAPT PRETTY WELL and their cars USUALLY SEE A 15 to 20 % increase in HORSEPOWER... NATURALLY ASPIRATED,, 15 to 20 % increase !!!!!! Remember,,, METHANOL is 130 octane !!! NO BURNDOWNS and relatively CHEAPER than ANY KIND OF RACING FUEl !!!! But,,, you have to KNOW HOW to handle it !!! As far as LUBRICATION IS CONCERNED.... ALCOHOL HATES ENGINE OIL... it's a WHOLE OTHER TOPIC...
