The wife is starting to ride again on a 2 smoker question is what oil smells the best/least? That was one of her objections years ago so looking for something that smells like fresh flowers

ipone race oil literary smells like strawberries. its what I use and its also smokeless. i get it at my yamaha dealer but it is very pricey so try and buy in bulk if possible. cheers!
 
Never heard of iPhon the doos smell weird when they go by nothing like the cat or yammie lube. I've tried torco and that stuff reeks.
 
WOW!! what are they going to come out with next. Did I say WOW yet?...................WOW!!!Are we going to drink some special liquid to make our crap smell better??

Is that good or bad? I used ipone for 1/2 a season and klotz for the other half..

I road behind a guy in a charity motorcycle ride who was using this in his sport bike. Gave me a headache like none other. If you use it, just try it out for a while before going to far. Just my .02 :2strokes:
 
You may want to try an oil made by Maxima Racing called Tundra R it supposed to be clean burning ,smokeless, and stink less than other oils. Have heard results that sound promising. I have tried it in my weed whip and seem to not stink as bad like exhaust (haven't heard the wife complain) after doing yard chores.

This reminded me of when I was young, my father would either put a little 'mosquito fogger liquid' in the gas tank of the big rider mower. Or he had a dripper type system than dripped onto the exhaust. Smelled like the fogger, just killed two birds w/ one stone. Cuttin grass and killing mosquitos.

I cannot answer that w/o a reasonable amount of facts. My personal theory is..... while parrifin a petroleum product, I don't believe it has any place in a combustion engine. Let alone tighter tolerance applications.
 
The older I get the less I want to smell the stench. I have used many, many different 2 stroke oils and have been very happy with Blue Marble for the least amount of smoke and smell. All will smoke an a cold startup.
 
I've taken people sledding who have commented on the smell in a positive way. I've run Klotz but I did hear the same about Ipone on another thread.
