2000 mountain max 700 bogs out of the hole

with the new fuel(poor) standards you are going to want to open the fuel screws another 1/4 or so, do you have an issue with the idle wanting to rise? If so I would say that you are lean on the pilot circuit. Also have heard from the guys that race when you load the clutches the motor will want more fuel, so I am going to bet your fuel screw is the issue.

Are you absolutely positive the pilot jets are clean? You looked through them when done and there was a nice, round hole? Just spraying cleaner through them doesn't always get them clean...

ive had the carbs apart twice i know for the pilots are clean gauranteed the carbs are cleaned properly

How are your float heights? Carburetor screens? I had a bog off idle on my 99 sx 600 and turns out the safety switch in the throttle handle was bad and cutting the ignition for just a few milliseconds. I had the carburetors apart probably a dozen times, replaced fuel pump, lines, coils, checked the clutching, belt, CDI box etc.... I spent I bet close to $300 before I was messing around one day and unplugged the kill switch harness from the handlebars. Bog was gone. Plug it back in, bog returns. Just food for thought. Been there!

Kinda like starting out in third gear in your car/truck.

I was going to say that but then I read that he has been running it with this set up for a coouple years. If he likes the set up it's hard to argue.
