Tool is cheap
You will have to change the angle when replacing the shocks by adjusting the radius rods. The tool you can buy at lowes etc., they are not that expensive, I'm thinking they are under 15.00 and are very handy. The rods you need to adjust are in the picture also.

The angle finder I understand and I have one. What I am not understanding is what I am doing with this bushing 8CR-2376B-00-00. How am I mounting the top of the shock? Pics of that would be great

the bushing will go in the area I circled in red from your pic. you remove your stock bracket and the viper shock will bolt directly to that upper bolt location

Okay, I see what your asking. That is the bushing that is inside of the hole that the top bolt where the bracket goes through. You should already have one there, but the micro fiche shows a spacer and not a bushing in the SX's because of the type of shocks. You will have to pull the shock and look at it. Mine has a rubber insert with a bushing in the middle like the top of your shocks do, thats because the clevis mount on the top of Viper shocks are solid. Your top mount there is probably solid because the only thing that bolts to it is the bracket and your top shock eye has the bushing in it. I'm thinking you should be able to replace one with the other. Does this make sense?
Ok I think I get it now correct me if I am wrong here Remove old shocks. Remove upper mounting bracket. Take the spacer out of the upper hole and replace it with this bushing 8CR-2376B-00-00. Then finish bolting them in and realign the skis. I do have one more question. The upper bracket is bolted up top by your red circle and just below where the shock bolt is now. Does that bracket help support the chassis or is that just for the shock mount? I don't want to weaken anything. Thanks guys

just a shock mount. sounds like you got it now.
I do have another question about this I see some people say you should change the radius rods too. To get that extra width does that really make a difference.

the srx's I did I used Venture radius rods and tierods and made swaybar spacers.

I just did my sx with viper fronts and did not change radius rods. There is plenty of adjusment in your stock ones. I know everyone has lots of opinions but the last sx i did i just used the bushing that is in the bulk head already. Fork mount on top of shock is a bit wider so i shimmed with washers. Never had a issue with it. If you already bought new one might as well use it.
