Viper Center Shock help

So I sent my shocks out to be rebuilt and now i do not remember which way the center shock goes...... Does it go body up or body down? Does it even matter? Thanks!

Darn... Thanks. I knew i had it right the first time.... I hope i am able to flip it over without taking the skid back out.....
