i have a 2000 sxr 500 and i when to go start it to day because i havent stated it in a week and a half 
on full chok it started in 7 pulls from a 14 deegre night and it ran fine for 3 min and stalled! 
it was below E SO I PUT LIKE A GALLON OR SO IN IT. after that it would not start werth a darn (20 pulls and nothing but po on the ends) so i pulled the plugs and they are always black sense we bought it! so i clean them with starter fluid and about 10 pulls later on full chok it fired up and ran good! do you guys think it run out then fluded? tell me what you think?
p.s my dads ac had frost around the tank! hahahahahaha//

I think it ran out of fuel and took about 30 pulls to fill the fuel bowls back up before it would start.

That's what happens when you run the bowls dry.
