We are suppose to do an annual xmas trip with the family next week. Is there any snow? Are the trails open?
 
as far as I see there is no snow anywhere ,maybe on the West Coast Mountain regions..but everywhere else in North America is really non existent Snow may come late Jan and maybe Feb for most..but a short season all around.
 
Lies. It's thin but it's been white up here if you start in Wetmore. Haven't gone very far yet though. There's a good layer of ice underneath right now.
 
You are not kidding. We called the hotel to cancel our trip and they tried telling us there was enough snow to ride and the riders are telling them the trails are really good. We'll just have to reschedule our family Xmas to Feb.

just got back from hurley and mercer area from 12/26-12/29 did over 250mi in three days. the trails were smooth and white, a little thin but certainly rideable. just stay off trail 12 to mercer and 2 to saxon lots of rocks and chipped the carbide out of about 6 of my brand new studs. the flowage was great riding but only about 1in of powder on the ice. had the ol' srx running about 125 on the dream o meter.
