Couple Questions about my Vmax

I just got a 1999 yamaha vmax deluxe 700 triple and had a few questions. The sled has factory shocks and I was wondering if I could put ohlins on it, if so what would the cost be and would you notice a big change while riding it. My secend question is about the pipe. Can you triple pipe this model, if so how much horsepower would it add and would it be beneficial? Thanks

Ive heard mixxed results for the ohlins shocks. mostly good, but they are very pricey. I put a set of sxr shocks with iq440 springs on mine. As for the pipes, it gives a massive boost in power. Some guys on here had 30+hp increase depending on whats already on the sled. Ask around. theres always somebody selling a set for $250-$600 depending on brand and condition.

NOTE: when piping you will need to rejet, reclutch, and maybe even mess with the gearing a little. Just a something to remember.

Just wondering, how much money would it cost to put ohlins on my sled ?

anywhere from $300 to $900 depending is new or used.I found my Ohlins from a member here for $200 years ago..good deal for me..
