I need some help here. I have a 2000 VMAX 600 that is stock including the track. It only has 3000 kms on it. My problem is no matter what the conditions are when I hit the gas all is do is spin the track like crazy. Will changing the track to a Rip Saw track make that big of a difference or should I look else where for getting more traction?

I run a 1.375 kimpex paddle track that is much better than the ripsaw. If they still make them then its worth the extra money to get. If you aint got the cash then I would recommend the camoplast energy. I run it on my phazer and its excellent for the price.

I agree with devinzz1 I put a camoplast energy on my 700 sx last year and I think it is an awesome trail track for the price big improvement over the stock track jmo

Right now I can get a new Rip Saw from my dealer for $390 CDN. I thought that was a good deal but am not sure..... is this good or not? Also the track is clipped every 3rd window is that ok?

after running with every 3rd clipped I went back to every window clipped.will be less wear on Hyfax overall.I payed the same amount of dollars for a 1" Kimpex Traction track fully clipped and punched out for 144 studs.Royal Dist had a sale on a while back and took advantage of it.

Back in 03 or 04, I installed a Polaris track that had 1 1/4" lugs, every 3rd window open, and "reliefs" in the tread. Don't know if it was off their x games version sled of the time or what, but it was brand new and royally kicked *** over stock. It also cleared everything on my sled but I did have to track down a track drive shaft with 4 toothed drivers instead of just the centers.
