my 2000 sxr is the single bulb headlight..2001 they upgraded to the dual better headlights.... is it possible to get a brighter headlight for my 2000? im new to all this, im not sure what kind of bulb this would be.... i dont want to get something that will be too taxing on my electrical system...any recomendations???
Should be just an H4 bulb. I ran a SilverStar by Sylvania in my SX.
I put a xenon by blume,,(I think) 100/55. then put a led bulb in my tailight
You dont want to go over 60/55w. Stick to that and you should be ok. You can put a bigger one in and it will work fine, but it will probably burn out your stator/wiring sooner or later. I switched my viper bulbs to PIAA H4's...
How much did those PIAAs run?
Lots.... the last time I checked they were like $80 for a pair. I have a 60/55 hyper white in my sled and cannot complain, oncoming traffic may not like it but it is great to be able to see whree you are going... Not so fun if your riding when it is snowing big flakes.Racing666 said:
