Is there a sticky or how to?

Hi guys,

I was searching, but couldn't find anything.
Do you guys know if there is a step by step how to clean the carbs off of a Phazer ???

I have 2 Phazer IIs and one Phazer 1 .... and they all need to be cleaned bad ......

Anyone have the steps for this???

Not sure which carb you have,but it its a Mikuni slide, this will give you all the basics. You can find a lot of service tech tips on TY's home page. Look for the tab that says Technical Pages on the left side of the page. There is another carb cleanning write up there also.

Should be Mikuni butterfly carbs. They are very simple carbs. Get air passages, jets, needle valve, and starter jets clean. Check float height, and ensure carbs are synched. Be sure rubber plugs are in the right spots, and then reinstall and make all adjustments.

There is good info in the manuals, and on the web. Not sure why we don't have a write up on here. I guess I could do one next time I clean a set.
