priming oil pump

Hey guys,

I am assembling my 570 after a complete rebuild. Is there a correct way to prime the oil pump? Or do you just premix the gas for the first tank? I don't want to pop this thing on the first run. Thanks.
 
Run a little bit of gas in the tank premixed with oil. Then pull the oil cable out of its seat so that it runs at max oil, idle the sled like that for a little bit and you should not have any problems. You may coat/foul the plugs, but it should get the oil moving through the pump quickly anyways.
