I just purchased a 96' polaris ultra rmk parts sled and was wandering if there is anything I can swap over to my Viper Mountain to improve it.

Yah that's Why I bought it track is like new and mine needs replacing. $400.00 and a full chasis just a bad engine. I am going to use the idlers to but was wandering if the xtra 10 skid would be an improvement over the pro-action.

IMO the extra 10 would be an improvement over the no-action. I went with a sc10III in my trail srx and loved it, now that I've parted out that sled the skid is gonna end up in my Viper

since there is not enough snow to ride yet I was thinking of doing the swap to the xtra 10. Just don't know how easy it will be to change it over.

I would remove the front skid brackets from the polaris and use them for the install if they would work.

Skid is a relatively easy swap, 4 bolts to hold it in rather than 6. The front of the tunnel I think is a little narrower then a yammi's so you might need to make some spacers. Measure out the holes from your donor chassis from the top of the tunnel down and from drive axle.
I think the p85's are easier/quicker to setup, but if you aren't changing clutch setups a lot, I would stick with the yammie clutch.
