Quick question, when you say you tested with the "sled off" do you mean with the key turned off because if your key is off or the kill switch is pushed in the servo won't engage when you hook up an external power supply. Been there, done that!

oh boy now im second guessing my self, ill have to do it again and report.
yup sounds like you got a bad servo ...pm me and ill give you a servo just cover shipping i have 2 or 3 laying around
